The ability to dim all 3 light colors from dark to bright is wonderful. The reflection is very clear. Overall it is a great mirror and for the price it is really fantastic.

With this I can really look at my face up close and personal. Since I have eye problems, I find this wonderful. I don't use the included light, so I can't say how well it works. Mine is now mounted on the wall and stays there, which is very good. The old one I had was "stuck" onto the mirror and it fell off about every 6 months. I don't expect that from this one. It swings out easily for viewing and swings back in for storage.
I bought this as a gift for my mother, but after taking it out of the packaging to make sure everything worked correctly, I must say I am jealous. I own a similar wall mirror myself, but it is smaller and does not have lighting. This mirror has three lighting levels, and the 100% setting must give at least 200 lumens. The mirror is completely made of metal and contains not a single plastic part. The light ring on both sides of the mirror can be easily turned on by lightly touching the designated area on the 1x mirror surface. Although I am relieved that this is a great gift, I would have loved if the box had gift packaging and not just a plain brown box, so that I wouldn't need to print out a picture of the item and stick it to the box myself. Also, since there is a light ring on each side of the mirror, I would have liked a power button on each side as well. Overall I am still satisfied and impressed with the build quality and now considering replacing my own.
