Dr. Pen Ultima M8 Professional Microneedling Dermapen, USB Rechargeable, with Cartridges Replacement Pack

I have some acne scars and pretty large pores. I used to go to a salon for microneedling and it worked, but it was way too expensive 😅 So I decided to try Dr. Pen M8 at home. The first time I was really nervous, but I set it to the lowest depth and went slowly. It just felt a bit prickly, not really painful. My skin was red the next day but it went away in a couple of days, and my skin felt so much smoother. After about 3 sessions, my scars faded a lot and my pores look smaller. Totally worth it compared to the salon!

I have sensitive skin so I was a bit scared at first, but the M8 lets you adjust the depth which is great. I usually stay at 0.25mm just to be safe. My skin gets red right after but by the next day it looks fine. After about a month, my skin feels smoother and makeup applies much better. Honestly it works better than a lot of skincare products I‘ve tried.

I am about to turn 30 and Im really worrying about new fine lines as well as scarring from a breakout I had a few months ago. I explored professional micro needling, but the absolute minimum price I could find near me was £150/session with the recommendation of at least 4 sessions! There was absolutely no way I could spend that. I explored some Reddit groups and saw this recommended, but not without caution. I was honestly pretty scared of trying this and ending up with even more damage, but I am using it in the most minimal way possible and its been safe and easy so far.

What I do recommend is making sure everything is extremely sterile before using this on your face. Look up the recommended protocol for use and use the best products for cleaning and slip on your skin. Do NOT try to go deep with the needles. The point of this isnt to bleed but you will feel some pain. I use .25 under my eyes and thinner areas and I dont go fully to .5 for the rest of my face but usually somewhere in between the two. Im still seeing great effects already and expect the cumulative results to be great with what Im seeing after just 2 uses. Dont over do it and make sure youre extremely sun-safe the following few days.

As someone with sensitive skin, I was nervous. But with the 0.25mm cartridge, it’s been amazing! No redness, just glowing skin.

I had acne on my face and enlarged pores. Later, I went to a beauty salon to treat my acne, but the cost was too high. Now I know that I can buy one and do it at home. It's comfortable and affordable.

I learned about the product from various reviews and YouTube tutorials before I ordered. Once I had it, it was simple to turn on and use. I was a little scared to try, not being an expert, but used on the most minimal depth setting to be safe. I skipped the numbing cream and it was ok while using, though my skin was uncomfortable for a couple hours after. (Might end up springing for the numbing cream!) this device is so good for helping to get products into your skin better and I think with gradual use will continue to improve the quality and texture of my skin. I have tried micro needling at a dermatologist but cant keep up with $3-400 treatments.

The needle is indeed very fine to treat acne scars. The length should be adjusted so that a little bleeding occurs. After the treatment, the skin repairs itself.
