What is red light therapy?

I really like the size of this red light therapy pad. I have a small one for my knee but can't really use it on other body parts. I thought about getting a red light therapy belt but the sizes run small. This larger pad is great for lying on or laying over my belly, shoulders, hips, etc. It helps with aches and pains. I use it often.
This mat works great for my lower back pain. The heat is not too strong and the levels are adjustable. One of my favorite features is the auto shut off timer that gives you a range of 10 to 30 minutes in 5 minute increments. It folds up and transports easily and the cord is long enough to plug in anywhere. Overall, a great product for the price.
